Catholic Students' St Thomas More Society
Who we are?
SUSTMS is based at the Phillip St Law School. We are interested in the relationship
between faith, ethics, government and law. We are a group of Catholic students who
seek to extend the highest ideals of culture, justice and morality. The aims of the
society are:
- Preach Jesus Christ
- Support and encourage Catholic Students in the spiritual, intellectual, pastoral and social development of their faith.
- Promote the highest ideals of culture, justice and morality in the study of law, politics, history, philosophy, theology and ethics.
- Absolutely support the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church, and to joyfully express its fidelity to the Magisterium and The Holy Father, throu active participation in the life and mission of the Church in the work of the New Evangelisation.
What do we do?
We have a weekly Bible study and three or four times a semester we hold talks on
topics such as bioethics, sexual ethics, Canon Law and Natural Law. Though we are a
Catholic society, students of all faiths are welcome.
