St Michael's College & University Chapel of the Resurrection
St Michaels is a Catholic college located
approx 100metres down from the Wentworth building at 150 City Road Chippendale.
Primarily it’s
a residence for overseas students from Asian countries but its open to everyone
and it has
its own chapel, The Chapel of the Resurrection. The rector of the college
is Rev Kevin Muldoon.
The Chapel of the Resurrection is located beside the College,
so it is quite central to most students. During the University study semester
the chapel offers
daily Mass at 12.10pm, daily adoration from 11am till 12noon, rosary recitation
(at the Grotto of Our Lady, which is located underneath the chapel) after the
Mass, and the Sacrament of Penance. The chapel is also open during the day,
so students can visit at any time to pray and reflect. The chapel is also very
blessed to have a relic of St Margaret Mary. Please feel free to join in.
The Catholic Chaplaincy uses St Michaels
College and the Chapel extensively to run numerous activities such as scripture
studies and BBQ’s. If you
would like to find out more about the college, please contact Fr Muldoon.
