Catholic Asian Students Society
"To seek, to witness and to journey as one towards Christ"
Who we are?
CASS is a Catholic Society founded 16 years ago to foster faith and fellowship in
university students. CASS is not only based in Sydney University but has branches in
UNSW, UTS and UMacq as well. Though each branch organises its own weekly Bible
sharings and meetings, it is not unusual for members from other branches to attend.
In fact, CASS as a whole regularly gathers for larger activities such as retreats. All in all, CASS is like a warm family where anyone who wishes to know more about the Catholic
faith is welcome.
What do we do?
Highlights of the CASS calendar include our annual retreat, thanksgiving Mass, annual
dinner, sports day, pool competition and walkathon to name a few. Besides that, we
regularly meet for Bible sharings, prayer, Mass, Adoration and praise and worship. We
also have community service activities such as visits to nursing homes and helping out
at soup kitchens. Last but not least, as all friends do, we often organise our own outings
and meals together.
How do you join?
